Leadership Team Compass

In four weeks, a survey, short interviews and a debrief workshop show your leadership team where it is strong, where the gaps are, and how much of what holds it back is within its control.

You leave with three agreed priorities for the year and a baseline to measure against in twelve months.

A fixed fee from R10 000, agreed before we start. Canopy is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not added to the quoted fee.

  2. AlignSchool Improvement & Strategy

Turn evidence and agreed priorities into a practical roadmap.

  3. SustainPerformance & Accountability Systems

How we work

One consistent coaching structure: GROW

Whether Canopy is mentoring a new head, reviewing a leadership team, planning school improvement or strengthening accountability systems, GROW provides a consistent coaching structure. Canopy asks more than it tells, works from an honest picture of reality and ends with practical next steps owned by the people who will carry them out. Structured reviews, evidence and practical tools are added where the work requires them.

What you can count on

Four commitments in every programme

Confidentiality with clear limits

Mentoring conversations are confidential, subject to the safeguarding, serious-risk and legal exceptions explained before the programme begins. Where a school, board, SGB or group funds the programme, it normally receives attendance information and anonymised themes only.

Capacity that stays

We train your own people to coach and mentor, so the skills remain in the school long after Canopy leaves.

Safeguards before learner programmes launch

Learner programmes launch only after safeguarding, facilitator-preparation, consent, privacy and referral arrangements have been agreed with the participating school. Mentors are not counsellors.

Clear professional boundaries

Canopy provides mentoring, coaching, facilitation and practical implementation support. It is not therapy and does not provide legal opinions or compliance certification. Needs outside Canopy’s scope are referred to qualified professionals.
